We've decided to wind down Faces. For more about what led to this decision, read the announcement from Perhaps Inc., the company behind Faces.
New signups are closed as of today, but everything you've created remains safe and available. Nothing else changes right away. Here's what to expect over the next few months.
Available through December 31
You can continue editing, presenting, publishing, and sharing your projects as usual until December 31, 2026.
You don't need to do anything about billing. Every active subscription will be automatically cancelled by December 31, 2026, and you won't be charged beyond the service's lifetime.
Refunds
If you'd like a refund and want to cancel your subscription immediately, sign in and submit a request at internal.faces.app/refund. We'll return your most recent payment to its original payment method and end billing for the selected team.
Take your work with you
Starting today, every project can be exported in two new formats from the Download menu:
- React app (ZIP): Your project's full source as a ready-to-run React app.
- Single HTML file: Your whole project in one self-contained file.
Both are built to work with AI assistants. Drop the file into Claude or ChatGPT, say "Publish this and give me a URL", and your presentation will be live on the web in a minute or two. No Faces required.
Publish an export with Claude or ChatGPT
- Open the Download menu in Faces and choose React app (ZIP).
- Attach the ZIP to a new Claude conversation.
- Ask: "Publish this as an artifact and give me a URL."
- Claude builds the project into an artifact. Use the artifact's publish control to share it.
- Open the Download menu in Faces and choose React app (ZIP).
- Attach the ZIP to a new ChatGPT conversation.
- Ask: "Publish this and give me a URL."
- ChatGPT builds the project and gives you a published URL to share.
The single HTML export works the same way: attach it, ask Claude or ChatGPT to publish it, and share the result.
